Acabamos de pasar unos días en la finca. Espacio natural maravilloso que te llena de paz e interior exquisitamente decorado y ambientado para continuar ese estado de relax y confort.
Hemos estado en bastantes lugares y alojamientos similares, incluso en La Toscana pasamos unos días el pasado verano también maravillosos (Lupaia creo recordar que se llamaba) y en Son Gener modificaría claramente el tema de la cocina. No está mal, pero tras comer y cenar allí el primer día, descartamos seguir haciéndolo, pues queda alejado de responder a la variedad y calidad que debería ofrecer un lugar tan bello, me pareció muy básica y sin esperar una cocina de autor que personalmente tampoco me va, sí eché de menos una cocina con productos de la tierra más especial y como digo, con mayor nivel.
Es posible que repitamos pero si no modifican este punto, no podremos disfrutar del lugar en este aspecto.

We are a very well travelled couple in our mid 30s and were on a kid free vacation. Son Gener absolutely blew our minds. It’s a truly magical place and we can’t stop talking about when we will be back. The grounds and pools are stunning, the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Some guests have been coming back for over 20 years. I am so confused why this place was not listed on the best hotels in Mallorca lists I read because it deserves to be (although maybe then it would become too popular) we stayed in the Rosa suite which has to be the nicest on the property, the rooms all seem to be massive though. The breakfast spread is to die for and dinner was nice although we would have preferred a more a La cart option. It’s very close to towns you can visit though for alternate dinner options. Don’t hesitate, just book this place!!

This hotel was our favorite while in Mallorca! Peaceful, quiet, comfortable, lots of flowers and beautifully designed spaces for dining and relaxing. Our room was in the main house, and it and the bathroom were large and spacious - fantastic water pressure in the shower - and lots of thoughtful details in the rooms. If we are able to return in the future, I might consider booking a room in the other building, as the views and pools were exquisite. The breakfast was hearty, offering both typical fruit, meat, cereals, etc., but also freshly cooked egg options and baked goods. We also enjoyed dinner one night and the food and wine list were wonderful. Overall, the staff were kind and helpful, we would highly recommend!

We stayed at Son Gener for a week with our little family (children aged 2 years and 9 months). If we had put together our dream vacation it would look exactly like our time at Son Gener. The architecture and interior are extremely tasteful highlighting the characteristics of the building as well as materials from the island. We loved the minimalist and yet cosy atmosphere in our room, the lounge areas, the spa and the restaurant. The grounds are much more spacious in reality than they seem on the pictures with beautiful old trees and plants that are very well maintained. With the kids we enjoyed the indoor pool a lot and took many walks around the garden. The outdoor pools are beautiful too but given that we stayed here in October we did not use them as much. We ended up having dinner at the restaurant every single night because the food was so good and offered a lot of variety. Also, the four course menu is fairly priced if you consider the quality of the food. The wine selection is excellent with many mallorcan options. Breakfast was a 5/5 as well with lots of fresh fruit and excellent choices overall. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even made our son an early dinner. We loved Son Gener and hope to return to this magical place!
