In the 1960s, this bar-restaurant was called "North" and was a simple chiringuito (beach bar) that served as a Pepsi-Cola bar, liquor store and bakery for the fishermen of Es Grau. A floor was added over time, and the bar passed through the hands of several owners, including the emblematic Bernadet, who gave his name to the place (the entire history of the first restaurant in Es Grau is told in the photos on the wall). Popular and touristy, it is the cheapest and most authentic tapas bar here! We like it.
