SMALL PAGODE
Pagoda dedicated to Preah Koh and Preah Keo, with statues of the two deities and their families.
It is dedicated to Preah Koh (the buffalo) and Preah Keo. One can observe a number of statues representing the two deities and their families. In the foreground, from left to right: a horse, the father of Preah Keo, the original base of the statue of Preah Koh, Preah Keo, Ning (his younger sister), the mother of Preah Keo and a horse. The Buddhas in orange robes are those who have attained nirvana, and the two horses are the vehicles of the Buddha. The original statue of Preah Koh was taken to Thailand by the invaders.
