LARGE PAGODE
Pagoda set on a mound high enough to listen to religious music played by a traditional orchestra.
Situated on a high mound, the great pagoda shelters in its center four statues of Buddha which turn their backs and face the four cardinal points. One meter in front of each of the statues are the feet of the original statues preserved in the state. In this pagoda, one can listen to religious music played by a traditional orchestra present very often. A small building at the entrance of the big pagoda is a place of rest and meditation for the king, who of course does not come very often either.
