Gilles Vacher’s passion for pastry has been his lifelong passion. His house, strewn with delicate treats, is a real institution in Vimoutiers. Think! The Vacher House is more than 50 years old and it is, of course, that Gilles has taken over the family torch. On his menu, many beautiful encounters, including a reception at the Palace in 2013 with other Norman brothers! Among the master’s specialties, "Norman Stirrups", a chocolate specialty created by the best chocolatier in the department (including Guy Vacher, his father), in honour of horses and numerous stud farms, apples in Calvados, but also three pastries inspired by the most famous cheeses in the region: Pont-l’Évêque, Livarot, and Camembert. Unique and to be discovered without delay. Especially to include in your gourmet basket, as a memory of your visit.
