LA PIEDRA PINTADA
The "Painted Stone" is a rock covered with petroglyphs. These symbolic drawings engraved in the stone would represent the map of the region and would tell the story of the resistance of the Indians of the valley against the Spaniards in the 16th century. But no certainty exists yet on the meaning of these petroglyphs. Continuing on, we see three waterfalls (in the rainy season), then the Piedra del Sapo ("Toad Stone"), with a petroglyph as big as a hand. The main path of the India Dormida passes by the Piedra Pintada and the Piedra del Sapo.
