The church was built on stilts due to the presence of groundwater.
Built in the 13th century, the church is built on stilts due to the presence of groundwater below. Listed as a Monument Historique in 1862, this Gothic church boasts a remarkable 16th-century stone altarpiece depicting the Passion of Christ. Also preserved within the walls are two Renaissance baptismal fonts, one of which has a rare Burgundian-style crenellated top. Don't miss the twisted bell tower, a rare example in the Châtillonnais region.
