This small town is located on the M 17 Zenica-Doboj on the edge of the Bosna. Its fortress dates from the th century at the latest (no certainty).

It dominates the Bosna on a large rock. It retains its very high walls and three important towers. Its monumental gate (Kapija) has just been restored.
