Arnay-le-Duc is a very dynamic, multi-faceted town. This canton capital composed of 92 communes has more than 1,500 inhabitants and has the label Station Verte thanks to its leisure centre. An ideal place to picnic by the water, to relax, to fish, or to do sports, thanks to the development of a fitness trail, a discovery trail and 2 hiking trails. Labelled Ville d'Art et d'Histoire (towns and lands of art and history), Arnay-le-Duc, allows the discovery of the beautiful patrimony with the Saint-Laurent church which dates from 1288, the castle of the Princes of Condé and the 15th-century Maison Bourgogne… Numerous exhibitions are also organized at the Café du Nord or at the Bruno Frey Gallery, for example. Museums such as the Maison régionale des Arts de la Table open their doors to you. In addition, Arnay-le-Duc is a city in bloom! On sunny days, tourists and locals alike have a lot of fun with, for example, the Nocturnes Estivales (Summer Nights) which allow you to discover the town and its shops in a playful way. Finally, there is no shortage of sporting events with the national cross-country race on November 11th or the cycle tour and the Claudio Chiappucci. In short, sport, nature, heritage, culture, outings, gastronomy... In Arnay-le-Duc, there is something for all tastes so don't hesitate to linger.

A pretty little town, which is much more than a simple crossing, a break is essential on it!
A small round on the market of local producers, followed by a stroll in the city, visit the museum. Then, it is not difficult to find a table friendly to have a good time of Burgundian gastronomy.
Basically a pleasant stop for those whose way of holidays is more like a quiet way than motorway.

Very pleasant small town, with a rather exceptional historic heritage and that deserves a stop here. Our stay was to the beautiful walks in the Fouché Pond and in the surrounding countryside and a visit to Musée des Arts de la Table and splendid Christmas market. Decided: we will go back to the summer enjoy the annual exhibition but also to discover Arnay-le-Duc under a more summer corner and enjoy bathing!
