SIX SENSES ZIGHY BAY * * * * *
It is first an exceptional site, a large bay entirely ringed and protected from steep mountains. So exclusive that you can reach it only by sea (by motorboat), by a track (in 4 x 4) or - should we silence it to keep the effect of surprise? - by air, paragliding! Amazing sensation of discovering a place from the top and standing in front of the door of its room like a bird… It is also a concept: ecological, with minimal environmental impact. On one side of the bay, a fishing village, on the other, the hotel establishment… but can we use such a banal terminology? Designed to blend into its natural site, the hotel presents itself as a hamlet of stone and wood villas, built almost exclusively using local materials. At the end of the fine sandy alleys, where it is not uncommon to see a goat drag, you walk on foot or by bicycle, in a deep silence barely disturbed by the waves of waves and the waves of the privatives swimming pools. The villas for 2 or 4 fit in three rows from the shore to the birth of the first slopes, where the lobby and restaurant, dominated by a turret, take the fake Omani fortress. Inside, chic rustic furniture plays on the warmth of raw wood and the stone way, with just a few paintings of coloured de to awaken the ochre heads. A sensual harmony, in curved curves, like individual gazebos for a nap… The restaurant, where a subtle fusion kitchen is enjoyed, extends on a visual terrace on the blue waters of the Gulf, and the Six Senses Spa distilling des treatments, along the way of ambient serenity. The long beach of fine sand invites to long contemplatives walks and the zénitude of a Robinson failed in a dream…
