BOĐANI MONASTERY
After Bač, you will arrive at this Orthodox monastery, known for housing, since the Serbian migrations of 1690, liturgical objects from the monastery of Manasija. The current building, dating from the seventeenth century, was built in a baroque style, very common in Vojvodina. Inside, a museum exhibits period manuscripts, oil paintings, church crockery and a medieval printing press. Many of the frescoes are the work of the painter and writer Hristofor Žefarović (1690-1753), the father of the Bulgarian Renaissance.
