PALACE LAZAREVIĆ
Go there and contact
In the village of Veliko Središte, 12 km northeast of Vršac, there are two plain residential palaces founded by the rich Négociant trader. The first dates from 1841 and obeys the rules of classicism: monumental entrance with Greek columns and top, rectangular windows and épurées. Its yellow and ochre hues, like its landscaped garden, give it a London-style air on the banks of the Danube. The other residence, created 24 years later, looks more like a medieval castle with square towers and multimatic as a roof. Today, the first palace has become a school.
