HÔTEL RURAL MAHOH
Rural hotel-restaurant with modern comforts and a terrace with a swimming pool with a sun terrace and a tennis court
Set in a splendid green garden where flowers, aloe vera, cacti, palms, tamarisk, chicory, green plants and terracotta pottery mingle, this former 19th-century rural residence is not lacking in charm! A superb view - from the restaurant or the pretty terraces - of the volcanoes (including the 401 m-high Montana Tindaya, the largest on the island!) and an azure sky for contrast. The beautiful volcanic stone and lime, and the red wood of the roofs and tables, create a warm, peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are laid out on one level, and it's a real pleasure to be here, far from the soulless tourist complexes. A warm welcome and attentive hosts! There are nine magnificent rooms with cosy decor: exposed stonework, wooden ceilings, rustic wooden furniture, four-poster beds, copper taps in the bathroom... Not forgetting the modern comforts of television, telephone and free wi-fi. Behind, out of sight and surrounded by enormous cacti, discover the swimming pool with its large sun terrace and tennis court. You can also enjoy quality local cuisine at the buffet breakfast served on the terrace, and at the Mahoh restaurant. A little history... Mahoh is the ancient name of Fuerteventura and means "my land" in the Guanche language!
