Opened in 1991 by Teobaldo Méndez who gave it his name, in homage to the Canary tree, this pastry shop produces all kinds of sweets. Some typical Canarian ones like roquetes, a kind of small fritters; truchas, small sweet empanadas; almendrados, almond and cinnamon biscuits and meringues. And others are all the latest, as this pastry shop is constantly renewing itself, even offering sugar-free cakes. As well as pastries and sweets.
