The barracks is divided into two sites: Marey-Monge left and Bonaparte on the right, whose pink stone buildings of Moissey (in the Jura) date from the th century. These two places had an artillery school where Napoleon Bonaparte was pupil between 1788 and 1791: it is possible to visit his room on authorization. Since June 1956, the barracks has welcomed the 511 th Regiment of Train of the First Logistics Brigade, a major unit of the command of French ground forces.
