This museum recounts the history of the Selma marches at Montgomery, one of the flagship episodes of the campaign for civil rights, and pays tribute to the activists who took part in it, both black and white. Ironically: The museum is located in the old building of the White citizens'council, a group for white supremacy now disappeared. The museum also proposes a visit to an annex, The Slavery and Civil War Museum, included in the ticket price.
