The Balneario La Mina is another popular bathing place for the people of Valledupar, but it is much less frequented than the Balneario Hurtado. It is located on the Badillo River, about 40 minutes by car from Valledupar, in the direction of Atánquez. It is easy to get there by collective cab. The river offers us magnificent natural pools, where we can slide in the rapids, between the rocks polished by the crystalline waters. Be careful, however, as the bathing is not supervised.
