One of the least popular national parks of the west but that is worth the detour for half a day, even a day for a small hiking through the " bad terres". The scenic drive through the park allows even different landscapes of the park, which are arid and inhospitable and surprising. Monticules/white/red fireplaces with multicoloured hillocks, meadows, you can even here of the prairie dogs and the first bison in a journey is/western.
And at night, it is also very pretty, moreover, without the noise of the rattlesnakes.
