It's a ranger. There is no post in the park, but the rangers are present everywhere.

All tours are guided by rangers and departure from Visitor's Center. Tickets are sold on the first come, first served basis. Reservations for organized groups. Visiting programs may be canceled due to severe weather events.
Admission rates. Parking and hiking in the park are free of charge. The visit of the cave and camping are paid. Special rates for seniors and younger people.

Accessibility. Limited areas of the cave are wheelchair accessible. Call ahead so that special accommodations can be arranged.
Various. Pets are not permitted in the park's campaign. They are allowed on the Elk Mountain and Prairie Vista Nature Trail. They must be kept on a leash. To call, the cover in the Black Hills is, at best, weak. It is often impossible to make a call between cities. At Visitor's Center, there is no cover.
The threat of fire is moderate to high for most of the year. It is prohibited to light a fire outside the grills made available in the campsite or park. Thunderstorms are frequent in this region.
