Hiking remains the best way to appreciate the beauty of the rocky landscapes of the Rocky Mountains. You can explore different areas:

Lake Hikes. Hiking to beautiful lakes surrounded by pine forests and rocky reliefs are among the most popular. Bear Lake is an easy 1.2 km loop to reach the picturesque and well known Bear Lake. Sprage Lake is another very popular trail and an easy loop of 1.5 km. Bluebird Lake is a more difficult and longer 20 km walk to the beautiful mountain lake of Bluebird.

Waterfall Hikes. Waterfall Hikes. The steps to the waterfalls are also very popular. Alberta Falls is a 2.7 km, easy and beautiful loop. Cascade Falls is a 10 km walk through wooded landscapes that end with a view of the tumultuous Cascade Falls.

Summit Hikes. Mountain summits reserve panoramic walks at the heart of rugged landforms and overcrowded alpine valleys. Flattop Mountain is a 14-kilometer walk that offers breathtaking views of Emerald Lake and Tyndall Glacier, among others. Deer Mountain is a popular 10 km hike, as pleasant as pictorial.
