Shady campsite located in a forest of cedars and hemlocks, with tents and motor homes available
Ideally located in a cedar and hemlock forest, the site is in one of the most popular sections of the park, west of the Continental Divide. The campsite is shaded, making it an ideal summer spot. Tents and camper vans are permitted provided they arrive early as the campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Several hiking trails are accessible from the campground and a free shuttle bus is available from Avalanche Campground allowing you to roam around the park.
