The former Saha Forest Camp has become Akiba Lodge. Each bungalow is designed to blend into the rejuvenating landscape of the verdant Hautes Terres forest. They are comfortably furnished and decorated with simplicity and elegance, featuring Malagasy handicrafts. All bungalows have a private terrace overlooking the forest, where you can sometimes hear the Indri Indri singing. The Akiba Lodge team strives to find the best balance between the needs of the community and the sustainable conservation of Mada's biodiversity. We love it!

Très beaux paysages sur la piste avant d'arriver au SAHA FOREST CAMP. Nous voilà au bout du monde entourés par la forêt primaire et réveillés le matin au lever du jour par le cri des lémuriens. Nous avons fait 3 parcours dans la forêt (2 diurnes : orchidées et ombre et lumière et 1 nocturne). Notre jeune guide a été très attentionné et s'est beaucoup investi pour nous faire rencontrer l'indri qui n'a pas voulu de nous ce jour là. La visite nocturne a été très enrichissante par la découverte de la nature, son silence et sa faune, fabuleux. L'hôtel très atypique est confortable ainsi que le personnel très serviable.

Aprés 45mn d'une très mauvaise piste et 10mn á pieds, le l'on de rizières qui coulent au fond d'un joli reste de foret primaire, un lodge sympa perdu au bout du monde. Calme cascade et lémuriens. Super.
