In the beautiful hotel Castello del Nero (COMO group), in Barberino Tavarnelle, about fifteen kilometres east of Certaldo, here is a starred restaurant that deserves a stop. So certainly, you have to take out the tickets, but the experience promises to be unforgettable. On the site of a 12th century castle, this table, supervised by the chef Giovanni Luca di Pirro, focuses on the tasty specialities of the Tuscan countryside. Vegetable garden, beehives, vineyard and olive grove supply the restaurant. Decoration with the charm of the old and superb terrace on sunny days.
