Despite the endless winter and the mountains as far as the eye can see, Alyeska remains one of the only true ski resorts in Alaska! A 565 hectare ski area is crowded during the long winter months until spring. You will find all the usual services and infrastructures, and in particular, the pipeline state obliges, a Super Pipe for ski and snowboard acrobatics. In summer, mountain bikers replace skiers on the lifts. The Alyeska Bike Park is known to be an excellent downhill biking site in Alaska.
