This burger shack in downtown Talkeetna is a marvel. Everything is homemade, from the bread to the fries, the beef is certified Angus and the portions are generous. What we like here are (in season) the Alaskan burgers, the ones with caribou meat or fresh salmon on a bed of tartar sauce, a delight. Other burgers are made withhalibut (halibut) or black cod (sablefish, a unique species from the North Pacific). Prefer to take out if it's cold because there is no indoor room.
