The Beaune - Challanges aerodrome, ideally located 5 km from Beaune, is open to public VFR air traffic 24 hours a day. With the possibility of international flights (intra Schengen) under specific conditions, the aerodrome has two separate flight schools for microlights and airplanes. The aircraft school, run by a DTO, prepares students for the LAPL and PPLA. Advanced courses include night flying and mountain flying. Managed by the Aéroclub beaunois, the airfield has two runways, paved (910 x 30 m) and unpaved (860 x 50 m).
