This open air museum is one of the most interesting in Ukraine. It comprises about 70 wooden buildings from neighbouring villages scattered over a wooded area of 30 hectares in an absolutely idyllic setting. Each "exposed" house presents the life of its owner according to its social layer of belonging. Some have been converted into museums and among the most interesting are the visit of the Bread Museum, the Museum of Space and the Museum of Rouchnyk, the towels embroidered typical of the Ukrainian countryside. There is also the museum of the writer Cholem Aleikhem. It's absolutely to visit.
