KHAO SAM ROI YOT NATIONAL PARK
A large grotto with a small carved wooden pavilion in its second chamber, built in 1890 during the reign of Rama V.
The large Tham Phraya Nakhon cave houses, in the second chamber, a small carved wooden pavilion - Phra Thi Bang Khua Kharuhad - built in 1890 during the reign of Rama V. A beam of light falling from an opening in the vault envelops this delicate architecture in a mystical atmosphere. It takes about 30 minutes to walk there. The Thung Sam Roi Yot marshes located in the northwest of the park are the largest fresh water area in the country.
