Lebanon is never far away in Brazil, where the community of Lebanese-Syrian origin is numerically larger than the one currently living in the Land of the Cedars. The Beirute is an almost historic bar-restaurant in the federal capital. It was born shortly after Brasília and its tables are still full today. Friday night it is the spot for a young and alternative public. On Sunday lunchtime, families sit on the terrace to share a filet mignon or Lebanese specialties. Une INSTITUTION depuis 50 ans... Toujours agréable d'y revenir déjà pour revoir les serveurs qui sont presque aussi anciens que les murs et qui ont parfois le sourire et de l'humour, si si. On y trouve un condensé de tous les milieux sociaux-culturels de la ville, du jeune au vieux, du riche au pauvre, du branché au ringard. On adore ou on déteste, allez y au moins pour vous faire votre propre opinion. Un seul bémol, les prix montent en flèche bien trop souvent pour une nourriture loin d'être gastronomique.
