Tower with panoramic views, featuring a 224 m-high steel spire on a broad concrete base

In the centre of the cross, a 224 m high steel spire on a large concrete base. You can climb up to it, for a nice panoramic view (75 m high). Outside, visitors can enjoy a sound and light show. At the foot of the tower is a statue that Alexandre Wakenwitch named Era Espaço.

OnSaturday and Sunday mornings, come and stroll through the traditional craft market. There is an alley for restaurants. After a tour you should definitely stop at one of the baianas to taste their specialties, acarajés and cocadas.

Fermée jusqu'à nouvel ordre
Pour information la tour de télévision est fermée depuis au moins mi 2018. Je n'ai pas réussi à obtenir d'informations sur une prochaine réouverture mais rien ne l'indique, le ministère du tourisme l'a privatisée. La foire d'artisanat au pied continue à fonctionner mais personnellement je l'ai trouvée très décevante, sympa en passant mais ne vaut pas le détour.

A deux pas de la zone hôtelière nord, et en accès gratuit, cette tour permet d'avoir une vue panoramique de l'allée centrale de jour comme en soirée.
Astuce: allez voir la statut Ilove brasilia au pied de la tour pour faire des photos souvenirs!.
