Brasilia Botanical Garden, a beautiful ecological reserve dedicated to research and preservation of the Cerrado biotope
The Botanical Garden of Brasilia is a beautiful ecological reserve of 4,500 hectares dedicated to research and preservation of the Cerrado biotope, endangered by soybean. 500 hectares are open to the public. 80% of the park is composed of native vegetation, the rest is divided between thematic gardens (aromatic, Japanese...) and facilities to welcome visitors. The paths guide them inside and a bistro welcomes them for a gourmet break. The weekend brunch is very popular, so it's best to arrive early!
