Building with convex dome, concave dome and 2 parallel 28-storey administration towers
The Congresso Nacional consists of a convex dome, the Câmara dos Deputados (Chamber of Deputies), another concave one, the Senado Federal (Senate) and two parallel 28-storey towers, reserved for the administration. The perfect curves of the two white domes are harmoniously placed on either side of the bare verticality of the two towers. These are the most characteristic and successful buildings of the complex. From the 28th floor, the view is superb and Costa's urbanistic creations deliver their full power
