It does not date from 1758 as the inscription might suggest, but from 1510, and is the work of the architect Jernej Firtaler, from nearby Villach. Late Gothic in style, its Romanesque bell tower was integrated into the ensemble when the church was extended in 1837. You will admire its interior through a window as access to the nave is closed. In front of the building are the busts of the valley's prominent religious figures.
