It is a former monastery of Carthusian monks who arrived in Carniola around 1255. The Carthusian monastery worked until 1782, the year of its dissolution decreed by Joseph II. The collections cover forestry, woodworking, hunting, fishing, agriculture, textile industry, transport, electrical engineering, printing. Special mention for cereal mills, hydraulic forges, rebuilt veneer workshop and Venetian saw. For lovers of beautiful cars, some rare pieces belonging to Marshal Tito or Steven Spielberg.
