Guillaume Adam and Manuel Rodrigues, both journeymen carpenters, created Dodécaèdre Charpente to promote high-performance, bio-sourced wood construction. Committed to an environmental approach, the company is certified as a "passive house designer", RGE Eco Artisan, and a member of the French straw construction network (RFCP), promoting a little-known but effective, bio-sourced and local insulator. For Dodécaèdre, the use of bio-sourced materials (straw, wood) and bioclimatic design are a daily commitment. Based in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region, the 7-strong company carries out construction, framing, extension, elevation and energy renovation projects.
