Beautiful beaches and coves with clear waters in Isola Rossa.
The beaches and small coves that are interspersed between the red porphyry promontories of Ila Rossa are worth a visit. The incredibly clear waters allow a glimpse of the rocky bottom. A breathtaking sight.
Spiaggia Longa. The large beach of Ila Rossa, over-saturated in summer, becomes very pleasant once the crowd has left. One third of the beach is cut by a terrace built over a boulder.
Spiaggia di Robinson. This beach is located just south of the main beach and has retained its wild character. Its pebbled bed does not attract too many visitors, but its translucent waters and the outcropping porphyry peaks make it an ideal place for snorkelling.
Spiaggia Marinedda. To the north of Longa Beach, this crescent-shaped beach is sheltered by mighty rocks. Much smaller than its neighbour, it is just as busy. Free parking.
Cala Calboni. This secret beach deserves to be the first to arrive, as there is only room for one or two towels. Sheltered in a tiny cove and facing south, you have to get lost on the dusty paths north of the Marinedda to find it.
Spiaggia Li Caneddi. Below Calarossa Village, the beach is renowned for its clear waters. The outcropping rocks form a beautiful natural pool to the north of the beach.
Cala Tinnari. The beach of pebbles and grey sand is not the most beautiful. But the natural pools of Tinnari, just above, are worth putting on your mask, fins and snorkel.
