This excellent restaurant is part of the Pilade Hotel, in operation since 1965. Open to all and frequented equally by locals, this place has everything to please. Beautiful terrace, typical Tuscan dishes, grills, home made olive oil and a very good wine list. The carnivores will be satiated, Elio and Angelo will prepare you succulent pieces of meat, grilled on a wood fire. Some even come from far away to appreciate the reputation of these two cooks, whose philosophy could be defined in two words: "carne diem"!

Qualità carne ottima, ma le patate al forno direi da rivedere, come la salsa al pepe verde della bistecca al pepe verde che personalmente mi ha un po’ delusa purtroppo, caposala un po’ frettolosa a volte ma capisco che sia complesso lavorare le sere d’estate con tanta gente e tante responsabilità , nonostante questo la cameriera più giovane gentile e carinissima sempre.

Ho scelto questo ristorante perché volevo mangiare della carne e sono rimasto soddisfatto. Il servizio: vi lavorano molti camerieri e per la maggior parte ho trovato professionalità ma non tutti quindi ci vuole fortuna. I prezzi: non avevo nessun problema a spendere ma 8 euro per un prosecco e 8 euro per un calice di rosso qualsiasi mi è sembrato esagerato. A voi la scelta.

Eravamo già stati in questo locale 3 anni fa, qui si mangia la miglior Fiorentina, a mio parere, dell’Elba. Menù vasto, ma tutto buono. Ottima carta dei vini.
