In Capoliveri, this historic "tavern", famous for its ultra-fresh fish, is a special address on the island of Elba.

"La Taverne des Poètes" is an amazing restaurant, very popular and rightly renowned for its ultra fresh fish and wine list. Family atmosphere, friendly, classic room decorated with a few paintings, and a smiling welcome in a historic place in Capoliveri, which opened its doors in 1909. In the kitchen, chef Massimo works with top quality products: mozzarella di bufala, "Noir de Toscane" cabbage palm, Cinta Senese, octopus, day fish... As a bonus, it's open every day. To be remembered without fail!

Prima volta all’Elba ed avere cenato in questo ristorante mi ha veramente fatto amare ancora di più questa meravigliosa isola. Crudo di grande livello, spaghettone al polipo e linguine agli astici veramente top . Tutto eccezionale dall’antipasto al dolce. Complimenti davvero!!!
