Well hidden, this address is well deserved but you won't regret the detour! For a delicious moment, with your feet in the sand.

Calanova beach, east of Capoliveri, is nestled in a well-hidden cove. After driving one kilometer of unpaved road, you will arrive in a secret corner! Lunch or dinner on a terrace by the water in the middle of a wonderful natural setting, here is the promise of a singular culinary escapade. A fresh and creative Mediterranean cuisine, based on fish from the local artisanal fishery, inspired by the flavors of the season. The romance is unique, what a pleasure to be rocked by the lapping of the waves!

It is a bit rough road to get there, but when you reach the parking (6€, it was free in the afternoon) you will be happy. Although the place is rather small, it is very well organised (compared to others places we visit), changing room, shower, toilet, bar and a restaurant. Stony beach has clear water and a bit of sea life. However, there are plenty of sea grass which spoils the view a bit.
Walking around the coast (over rocks or by water) you can get to a nice looking, lonely beach.
We recommend to get there in the afternoon - it is quieter.

Ideale per le coppie senza figli. Spiaggia piccolina, servita da un bar e da un piccolo stabilimento balneare. Principalmente composta da ciottoli e pietrisco, poca sabbia. Vista molto appagante.
