Sanctuary that can be visited on special occasions, such as the feast of the Madonna delle Grazie, on December 8, near Capoliveri.
Sanctuary of the 18th century, between Capoliveri and the sea, guarded until the last century by hermit monks. The baroque interior is topped by a coffered ceiling and frescoes by Eugenio Allori. It houses the painting Madonna of Silence, a 16th century jewel by Marcello Venusti, a pupil of Michelangelo. In 1792, French monks fleeing revolutionary France were welcomed here. The sanctuary can be visited on special occasions such as the feast of the Madonna of Graces on December 8.
