Built in 1901, this majestic Fine Arts Station took over from service in 2003 after more than 30 years of inactivity. It's served by frequent connections with its neighbour to the north Washington D.C. It also appears on the route of the Southeast High Speed Rail Corridor, a high speed network designed to connect to 2018-2022 Washinton D.C. (and Richmond) and Charlotte, North Carolina, before considering the following decades of travel to Georgia, or in Florida.
