Purokao is the very original name given to the chocolate factory of Joshue Lastiri and Maryline Justice. In their manufacturing workshop in Bligny-sur-Ouche, they develop their know-how as producers of traditional Mayan chocolate. At Purokao, we go back to the origins of chocolate, the beans come directly from Mexico, they are crushed, ground with a grinder and transformed into pure dark chocolate. Rediscover what dark chocolate is, learn to enjoy it as a grain or as a puck to die for. You can even go further and become a chocolate player by participating in the workshops and activities organized at the shop. For 1h30, in groups of four to six people, the Mayan chocolate workshop allows you to experience an educational and sensory adventure around Mayan chocolate: its origin, the transformation of the bean into chocolate, your own creation of a traditional Mayan chocolate disc and, of course, a tasting. You can also choose to participate in the "Découverte du chocolat maya" (Discovering Mayan Chocolate) activity. This time in groups of five to ten people, you can *discover and taste raw materials, you will attend a demonstration of crushing cocoa beans on a stone wheel (traditional Mexican method), then you can taste cocoa paste freshly made in front of you, but also true hot Mayan chocolate (also prepared in front of you). Finally, you can end with a tasting and sale of more than ten different chocolates! Whether for yourself or as a gift, these activities are the guarantee of an original, pleasant and gourmet experience.
