It is a large theme park located in Manteo Bay. It traces the history of the island in an extremely complete way. You will find a ship from the Colonization era, the Elizabeth II, period reconstructions and various museums focusing on several specific points of local history and geography. You will be able to discover how the first settlers lived, the customs and traditions of the Algonquin Indians, and the functioning of the region's ecosystem.
The park is located on a peninsula, a trail runs around it and offers beautiful views of the lush vegetation, Shallowbag Bay and the surrounding marshes.Did you know? This review was written by our professional authors.
