KENTUCKY HORSE PARK
Since its opening in 1978, Kentucky Horse Park has been attracting thousands of visitors every year. He is well known for his International Museum of the Horse (International museum of the Horse), which actually occupies only a small portion of the 495 hectares of ownership. Here are the main infrastructures and animations you can visit:
International Museum of the Horse. A fantastic museum that perfectly enhances the horse from its origins to the present, and its history with man. You can't miss the Arab horse exposure that stretches on two levels, or the one on the world of racing and sang. At the end of the visit, a gallery is devoted to carriages.
American Saddlebred Museum. A museum dedicated to the oldest native horse breed in Kentucky.
The Breed Barn Show. A equestrian show, every day at 14 pm.
Hall of Champions. The paddock housing the most prestigious horses of the moment.
Kids barn. An area of education in the equestrian world for children.
Horse Drawn Tours. The tours in the carriage of the property.
Horsback and Pony Wrinkles. Horse/pony tours in the property.
The park also has a Visitor Information Center, a restaurant and a boutique. A hotel should soon complete the accommodation opportunities of the campsite located within the property. Kentucky Horse Park regularly hosts major competitions, such as the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event in June.
