THE MILLER HOUSE
The Miller House is a beautiful manor house with a long history, with an excellent restaurant and an astonishing Bourbon cave. Built in 1905 on behalf of Elmer Miller, a local industrialist and his wife Loudon, the large house was sold by Loudon to real estate developers in the early 1970 s. After several years of uncertainty and despite its ranking in the heritage of the city, the property fell gradually. Finally, it was Larry and Jeanne Kirk who got their buyers in 2006 and turned it into what it was today. Several elegantly decorated rooms welcome the restoration section. There is a traditional south cuisine of the first choice as well as excellent brunches on Sunday morning. The outdoor terrace and patio are among the most pleasant places to sit down. In the basement of the superb building, its bar, the Spirit Lounge, is not only one of the best places of Owensboro to taste Bourbon (+ 400 references), but is also a renowned musical scene. Many groups are doing this regularly. Of course, it is also possible to take a meal there.
