As Paintsville has few restaurants to offer in mid-range, it is possible to travel by car at sickkids's Brickhouse, 23 kilometres south, following the famous Country Music Highway (US). It's an excellent family restaurant or you'll enjoy a delicious traditional cuisine (try Apple Wings or Cheese Cheese!), baked pizzas and irréprochables burgers. If the interior allows you to welcome you in a pleasant setting, there is nothing to eat lunch or dinner on the terrace. Advise without hesitation, especially if you take the road to Virginia.
