AQUAFORTLAND

Aquafortland is a large leisure park with several pools, including a 150 m rapid river, a 200 m² paddling pool for toddlers and a large 650 m² pool with a whirlpool and entertainment areas (with afternoon DJ and a foam pool party once a week), 11 m-high slides, a children's playground with trampolines and bungee trampolines, a water acrobatics course, two beach volleyball and basketball courts and two restaurants, including a fast-food restaurant. A spa has also recently been opened, offering massages, beauty treatments and fitness classes. Unlike the water park, the spa is open all year round.

Director Nora Benouniche and her husband run the park and spa very professionally, and we had a great time. As a single woman, you won't be bothered at all by young flirts or remarks, as the public is very family-oriented and many girls come here alone too. Burkini is allowed, but your bikini won't be a problem for anyone here. Sports events, entertainment and dance parties organized daily, see the Facebook page. Good to know: single men are not allowed, and must be accompanied by a woman or children (the establishment aims for a family audience and is keen to avoid male overcrowding).
