Between KP 15 and KP 18, there are several white-sand beaches. The first is To'Aroto beach at KP 15: on the edge of a fringing reef, it's not the best for swimming, but it's pleasant. Next is Vaiava beach, where you can rent kayaks and paddles. There's even an ice-cream vendor for those with a sweet tooth. Slightly further on, you'll find PK 18 beach and Mahana Park (PK 18.5), again with excellent facilities.
