Right on the beach, this small, family-run hotel, rated 4 tiarés, is the only one located within the Unesco-listed perimeter, after the Taputapuatea marae. Charmingly renovated, it offers 4 beach bungalows for 3 adults and a child, a Deluxe garden bungalow for 5, and a 140m2 lagoon villa for 6. The site is superb, with its white-sand beach, tropical garden and snorkeling pontoon. Good restaurant "La pirogue royale d'Opoa", bike and kayak rentals, excursions to Raiatea and Tahaa.
