Fabuleux !
Our stay at Vahine Island was nothing short of magical, earning every one of its five stars and more. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquility, personalized service, and unparalleled natural beauty.
First and foremost, the culinary experience at Vahine Island deserves a standing ovation. As a vegan, I often find it challenging to discover diverse and delicious options, but the chefs at Vahine Island surpassed all expectations. Each meal was a masterpiece of flavors, showcasing the vibrant and fresh ingredients of French Polynesia. The dedication to providing mouthwatering vegan options truly sets this resort apart.
The staff at Vahine Island were the epitome of hospitality and kindness. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout our stay, every team member went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Their genuine smiles and willingness to assist created an atmosphere that felt like home in paradise.
Accommodations were both luxurious and cozy, blending traditional Polynesian charm with modern amenities. Our stay at the La Villa Royale provided breathtaking views of the crystal-clear lagoon, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploration and relaxation.
Our adventure extended beyond the confines of Vahine Island, as we embarked on a hiking expedition through the mountains of Taha'a. The lush landscapes and panoramic views were awe-inspiring, providing a different perspective of the natural beauty that French Polynesia has to offer.
Vahine Island's proximity to local coral gardens and pearl farms was a dream come true for nature enthusiasts like us. Snorkeling in the nearby coral gardens allowed us to witness the vibrant marine life in their natural habitat, creating memories that will last a lifetime. The opportunity to visit local pearl farms added a cultural touch to our stay, offering insights into the artistry behind the renowned black pearls.
For thrill-seekers, the jet skiing expeditions were a highlight of our trip. Whizzing across the azure waters with the wind in our hair, we discovered hidden coves and secret beaches, all under the guidance of expert instructors.
In summary, Vahine Island exceeded our wildest dreams. This hidden gem in French Polynesia not only pampers its guests with luxury and comfort but also provides a genuine connection to the rich culture and natural wonders of the region. We left with hearts full of gratitude and memories that will undoubtedly beckon us back to Vahine Island in the future. If you're seeking an unforgettable escape in paradise, look no further than Vahine Island—it's a true five-star haven!
Such a lovely place! Moa, our server most mornings, has been there 20 years and is a delight! All of the Tahitian staff were awesome! Tima, our captain for the boat trip from the airport to the resort was super! He took me on a guided snorkel tour of the coral reef garden and showed me how to make a coconut palm basket. He had great information about the islands and history.
Everyone made the stay special. We were, quite literally, the only guests the first two nights! We had the resort entirely to ourselves.
The tour, to the pearl farm, vanilla plantation, and Distillery was a high point.
The resorts feels like an eco-resort as much of it was built with local coconut palms and handles are made from found driftwood and other items. The bed is comfortable and after we finally asked about the air conditioning the room was very comfortable.
